Marcia was commissioned by Parker Ranch to complete a two-year-long project that included researching the Hawaiian paniolo culture. She completed interviews (written and oral), collected photographs from cowboys and families in the community from the 1920s and on, and was able to paint the murals shown here from the collected documentations of her research.-

This history depicts a lifestyle that has changed dramatically in the last few decades with new technology and the use of ATVs in place of horses.
